Associate Editor — Hindi Digital Edition
Lead Hindi-language content strategy and editorial production for our rapidly growing Hindi digital audience.
- ✓2–4 years of digital editorial experience in Hindi journalism
- ✓Excellent command of Hindi grammar, tone, and digital writing styles
- ✓Familiarity with SEO best practices for Hindi content (Devanagari keywords)
- ✓Ability to translate or adapt English-language stories with cultural fluency
- ✓Experience with CMS platforms and basic analytics tools
Senior Frontend Engineer (Next.js / Performance)
Build and optimise the digital publishing platform powering one of India's fastest-growing news organisations.
- ✓4–7 years of production experience with React and Next.js (App Router)
- ✓Strong command of TypeScript, CSS, and performance optimisation
- ✓Experience with Supabase, PostgreSQL, or similar backend-as-a-service platforms
- ✓Understanding of SEO, Core Web Vitals, and accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- ✓A portfolio of live, high-traffic projects is strongly preferred
Senior Economic Correspondent
Lead economic policy and markets coverage for Bhartiya Vanijya's flagship business desk.
- ✓Minimum 5 years of business or economic journalism experience
- ✓Strong understanding of Indian macro-economics, financial markets, and fiscal policy
- ✓Ability to translate complex economic data into compelling narratives
- ✓Prior experience with data visualisation or financial modelling is a plus
- ✓Excellent written and spoken English; working Hindi proficiency preferred
Data Journalist & Investigative Analyst
Drive data-driven investigative journalism on governance, environment, and public health.
- ✓3–5 years of experience in data journalism or investigative reporting
- ✓Proficiency in Python, R, or advanced Excel for data analysis
- ✓Experience with OSINT tools, RTI filings, and document forensics
- ✓Strong storytelling instincts — you find stories in spreadsheets
- ✓Familiarity with D3.js or Flourish for interactive visualisations is a plus
