Ghaziabad: A meeting of journalists was organized in the premises of SSD Jain Public School, where detailed discussions were held regarding the upcoming Holi Milan ceremony and other organizational matters. A large number of journalists attended the meeting.
With the permission of President Ajay Jain, General Secretary Sanjeev Verma initiated the proceedings. After deliberations, President Ajay Jain proposed that the Holi Milan ceremony be organized on February 22, 2026. He stated that if delayed, many journalists might get occupied with other events, so it would be appropriate to hold the program on this date. The proposal was unanimously approved by all present members.
Secretary Rashmi Ojha suggested that, as in previous years, the Holi Milan ceremony should be celebrated with great enthusiasm this year as well. She proposed that responsibilities be assigned in advance to all office bearers and members to ensure smooth execution of the event.
Sanjeev Verma, Kishan Singh, Manish Gupta, and Kuldeep Tyagi emphasized the importance of unity and cooperation within the organization. They stated that activities aimed at supporting journalists should continue in the future.
C.P. Singh, Meenakshi Sharma, and Savita Sharma stressed that priority should be given to assisting the respected members of the organization, as has been done in the past. They also emphasized enrolling more journalists with positive thinking into the association. The proposal was approved by all.
Vice President Kuldeep Tyagi stated that the organization is quite old and registered, and efforts will be made to organize major public welfare programs under this banner in the future.
President Ajay Jain mentioned that the Journalists’ Association has previously organized health camps, FASTag camps, Aadhaar card camps, distribution of blankets and clothes to the needy, financial assistance to journalists, and strong protests against any unjust action taken against journalists. He assured that with everyone’s cooperation, such public welfare activities will continue in the future.
